2023 Family Event at Plamann Park

Please bring your family to an event we’re hosting at Plamann Park. It’s north of Appleton with 257 acres of trails, scenic hills and many activities for you and your family. Join other families from across the diocese in fellowship, sharing a meal and some solid family time. This event is sponsored by the wonderful donors of Esto Vir so please consider joining us for a few hours. Whether you’ve been to our events before or this is something new and it is a step outside of your comfort zone, we want you to come to this event.

When

Sunday, August 20 starting at 2pm.

Where

Plamann Park is north of Appleton, Wisconsin at 1375 East Broadway Drive between North Meade Street and North Ballard Road (County Road E). Esto Vir has rented the Chris Brandt shelter and you can access a park map here.

What

The event starts at 2pm and we will grill meat and provide water thanks to the tremendous sponsors of Esto Vir starting at 4pm. Feel free to bring a side or dish to pass.

The shelter we rented has power, bathrooms, built in bags boards and plenty of green space in the immediate vicinity of the shelter. Across the 257 acres, there is a free children’s farm, 27 hole disc golf course, nature and hiking trails, tennis and volleyball courts and a lake for swimming (additional cost). Feel free to bring your own discs, yard games or other fun activities to partake in!
