About Esto Vir
On a mission to reclaim the world for Christ.
In 2005, the Bishop of Green Bay, David Zubik, saw that men were missing from the church. He challenged a small but faithful group of men to organize a conference that would help ignite the fire of faith in the hearts of men across northeastern Wisconsin. Over the past 21 years, Esto Vir has inspired men to turn to Jesus, follow Him more closely, and lead others to the Lord. There are numerous stories of men experiencing profound conversions at Esto Vir Conferences and events.
Today the challenge remains. The culture is against us, but by embracing a life of prayer, fasting, repentance, and brotherhood, the men of Esto Vir are fighting to reclaim the world for Christ. You were made for greatness. Come and see!
The Esto Vir Mission
We are on a mission to reclaim the world for Christ.
We do this by helping men become better husbands and fathers… the kind of men who can lead their families to Jesus.
At the dawn of the first apostolic age, God chose one man to start reclaiming the world for Christ. He was a king by blood, but a carpenter by trade. His task was both simple and staggering: courageously accompany just two people.
His name was Joseph, the husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus Christ.
He lived a life of radical conversion to God’s will and heroic sacrifice for Jesus and Mary.
We find ourselves once again in an apostolic age.
Many people do not know Jesus, the joy of the Gospel, or the beauty of His Church. The world is against us.
Now, more than ever, we need men like Saint Joseph, men who will build Holy Families…
Because one day, their families will reclaim the world for Christ.
Esto Vir Prayer
Almighty Father,
Thank you for Your grace. We humbly pray, please bless the men of Esto Vir and keep us faithful in Your service. Help us to put on the new man in Jesus Christ. Deliver us from evil and fill our souls with Your divine life. By prayer, the sacraments, and lives of virtue, shape our hearts and restore our families in holiness. Through the love of the Holy Spirit, may the work of Esto Vir bear great fruit for the Kingdom in time and eternity.
